“Netflix…We’d Love To Come Play”- Shemar Moore Rallies for a ‘S.W.A.T’ Revival After CBS Pulls The Plug

Fans of CBS’ “S.W.A.T.” are saying goodbye to the Shemar Moore-led police drama for the SECOND time! Boo!

The series, which kicked off its eighth season in October and will wrap in May, has been canceled, again. Moore announced to fans on social media.

“I wasn’t going to do this, but I can’t help it,” he said in a lengthy Instagram video early Friday. “‘S.W.A.T.’ here we are, Season 8, three weeks away from the finale. We are canceled again. It sucks. It’s sad.” I love how Shemar wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s always looking out for those around him.

Moore, a CBS mainstay (“The Young and the Restless,” “Criminal Minds”), thanked the network for “the honor” of doing the show while also giving a wink to other networks.

When CBS pulled the plug on the show, fans were left shocked and disappointed, knowing there would not be another season to continue the adrenaline-fueled missions they had come to love.

All hope is not lost. Shemar Moore is not ready to surrender, and his latest signal flare suggests Netflix might be the perfect new headquarters for S.W.A.T.. In the meantime, we can still get our Shemar fix with repeats of Criminal Minds. Right now you can watch Criminal Minds on Hulu, Paramount Plus, and Paramount+ Amazon Channel.
