The music world is mourning the loss of Grammy award winning singer, Roberta Flack. She passed away yesterday, February 24th. Fans loved her voice, especially in her songs, ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’, ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and ‘Tonight I Celebrate My Love’. You could feel the passion when she sang. I loved her soulful sound. From the 70s through the years, Flack accumulated three number one hits and was the inspiration for many up and coming musicians. No word on what the singer died from, but ABC News noted that Roberta had been diagnosed with ALS a few years ago. Her music will live on and a younger generation will also come to appreciate that incredible voice~
