Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD charitable foundation is providing $2.5 million to support recovering families from the Los Angeles fires.
In addition to supporting families who lost their homes and goods, BeyGOOD will help churches and community centers in other affected communities meet the urgent needs of fire victims.
As the Palisades and Altadena fires continue to ravage Los Angeles communities, celebrities like Jennifer Garner, Paris Hilton, Rob Lowe and others are mobilizing to donate, jumpstart relief funds and volunteer. Some, like Sharon Stone and Halle Berry, are donating clothing to those who have lost their homes or otherwise been displaced amid the ongoing state emergency.
Disney offered $15 million to community relief and reconstruction, while Paramount and Fox Corp. donated $1 million to the American Red Cross and Los Angeles Fire Department. Warner Music and Blavatnik Foundation pledged $1 million to Los Angeles fire relief and reconstruction today.
Live Nation will host a Fire Aid benefit concert at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome on January 30 in addition to money donations. The February 2 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles will undoubtedly raise money for the city and its music lovers.
