It’s no secret there’s been a lot of “tension” between Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth, both former front guys for Van Halen over the years, but is David Lee Roth ready to join Sammy Hagar on stage again? Diamond Dave says yes. The Red Rocker says only with conditions.

Sammy Hagar recently announced a “Best of All Worlds” tour with former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani and drummer Jason Bonham. He said he’d love it if original lead singer David Lee Roth and founding drummer Alex Van Halen would come to a show and get on stage to jam with them.

 Now Diamond Dave has responded, saying, “I’m ready to go. Let’s do this.” Hagar then clarified on Instagram, writing, “He can come out and sing a song on a show or two if he can remember the words. He’s not invited on the tour. NOOOO F***king way. I know better than to have him on tour again.
