The show up for the most awards is “Succession,” which has now completed its run, with 27 nominations. “White Lotus” and the “Last of Us” helped HBO become the leader. “White Lotus” dominates the best supporting actor and actress categories with 5 for best supporting actress and 4 in the best supporting actor category. “Ted Lasso” leads the comedy categories with 21 nominations.

The Emmys are scheduled to be held September 18 on Fox. The writers’ strike and an impending actors’ strike could put a damper on the ceremony.
