Heirloom Tomato Salad

Since I clearly can’t grow my own I decided to go buy some heirloom tomatoes while they’re still summer awesome. I have done bruschetta many times so I branched out and found this great recipe on Tik Tok. I didn’t have everything in the recipe but I love playing “Chopped” in my own kitchen and finding ways to work around the things I don’t have. Since Buttermilk isn’t really something I have laying around I doubled the Greek yogurt. I threw some basil on there from my terrible garden (To be clear I didn’t grow it, I bought an already established plant and planted it so this is from someone else’s growing work). To avoid the “40 paragraphs about my husband liking this recipe” that every cooking blog is just know it was a hit. 🙂 Very light and fresh- great summer side salad!
