These days, you can get anything online — even a COVID test. Costco is offering an at-home saliva test that promises “the most accurate sensitivity and specificity currently on the market.” A PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test like this one allows scientists to take a very small amount of your DNA to study.

Like, a mail-in saliva test is probably fun when you’re finding out what countries your ancestors came from… But I feel like if I need an answer as to if I have COVID or not, I don’t personally want to do the test myself. After all, I am not a doctor and I don’t even play one on TV. I don’t like the room for error at that price point ($130). But they exist because someone will do it. So will it be you???
