After seeing Trinity celebrating the release of Lover in a hospital room, Taylor visited her GoFundMe… She was trying to raise $10,000 to cover medical bills not covered by insurance and Taylor donated, you guessed it, $10K. Imagine that. But there’s more to this than just being charitable and showing love to her loyal fans…
Taylor Swift is going though a tough time with her mother’s cancer diagnosis. Her song Soon You’ll Get Better outlines the emotional roller coaster and her well wishes for her mom.
According to Billboard, Taylor left a message with her incredible donation:
“I saw photos of your album release party that you did in your hospital room and wanted to say thank you for being so kind and supportive! I hope I can give you a hug in person soon, but in the meantime I wanted to send you this and all my love. Your friend, Taylor.”
A cool thing after Taylor’s gesture. Some fellow Swifties made $13-donations to that crowd-funding page. Of course, that’s T-Swift’s lucky number!
