Imagine writing a song many decades ago, putting it on a shelf and forgetting about it…until now. That’s what Mick Jones of Foreigner has done with a song he wrote called, ‘Shelter From The Storm’. I don’t know why they’re saying Mick will ‘officially’ release the song next month since you can hear it right now, below. I like the song…it’s very calming. And really listen to the lyrics. If you didn’t know, Jones was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, and supposedly if you purchase the song on certain sites, a portion of the proceeds will help benefit Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April. The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research will share Mick’s song this weekend at their annual Unity Walk for Parkinson’s.
