How To Watch ‘Wicked’ At Home: The Oscar-Winner Is Now Streaming On Peacock

Let us rejoicify: “Wicked” has finally made its way to Peacock!

Released in theaters ahead of Thanksgiving 2024, “Wicked” brought in over $700 million worldwide, and after a VOD release to ring in the new year, the movie musical is now part of NBC’s streamer, Peacock.

Based on the long-running Broadway musical of the same name (and the novel that inspired it), “Wicked” is a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz” that explores the life of the Wicked Witch of the West before her encounter with Dorothy and that bucket of water. Named Elphaba in the musical and film, the Wicked Witch is played by Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo.

If you’ve been wanting to rewatch “Wicked” (even if it’s every day, there’s no judgement here I’m with you!)
