Let us rejoicify: “Wicked” has finally made its way to Peacock!

Released in theaters ahead of Thanksgiving 2024, “Wicked” brought in over $700 million worldwide, and after a VOD release to ring in the new year, the movie musical is now part of NBC’s streamer, Peacock.

Based on the long-running Broadway musical of the same name (and the novel that inspired it), “Wicked” is a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz” that explores the life of the Wicked Witch of the West before her encounter with Dorothy and that bucket of water. Named Elphaba in the musical and film, the Wicked Witch is played by Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo.

‘Wicked’ special features and bonus content: In addition to the film’s theatrical cut, you can also watch the sing-along version of the movie, which features lyrics on-screen.

There is also a collection of deleted scenes and specials, including “Making Wicked” and “Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked,” which aired on NBC ahead of the movie’s November release.
