Here’s to hoping the sixth time is the charm. GNR just announced that Isaac Carpenter is the newest member to the iconic band, who will be playing drums. You’ll remember that former drummer, Frank Ferrer, recently left Guns N’ Roses, but on good terms. Ultimate Classic Rock News reminds us that Carpenter has history with Duff McKagan’s group, Loaded, playing drums from 2009 to 2011. So he’s got history with Duff and has more than proven he’s got the chops to get behind the GNR drumkit.

As I mentioned, Isaac will be the sixth drummer with Guns N’ Roses. They started with Rob Gardner in ’85, Steve Adler (fan favorite) from ’85 to ’90, Matt Sorrum from ’90 to ’97, John Freese from ’97 to ’00, Brian Brain from ’00 to ’06, and Frank Feerer from ’06 to ’25.
