When I was a kid, I remember one of my favorite TV shows was ‘Three’s Company’. John Ritter was masterful with his comedic timing. Suzanne Somers played the ditzy Chrissy to a ‘T’. And the beautiful Joyce DeWitt held the roommates together as Janet. But as we celebrate the 48th anniversary of this iconic TV show this week, you may not realize it was totally different in the original pilot. Ritter’s character was named David and there was no Somers or DeWitt. Two other actresses were cast as Samantha and Jenny! Even the TV theme song wasn’t what we know today…the original didn’t have any lyrics! Take a listen…
