U.S. Man Sets World Record For Having 8,882 Of These In His Barn! No, They’re Not Pigs Or Eggs!

Collections come in all shapes and sizes and obviously people collect ANYTHING! Leave it to an Oklahoma man to set the Guinness World Record for having the most…bricks. 8,882 to be exact! You might be saying, “Hell, that’s the same amount in a building!”. No, you see these are 8,882 different types of bricks, with one dating back to A.D. 100! UPI news reports that Clem Reinkemeyer started the brick collection 40 years ago! You may be asking, where does one keep THAT many bricks! It’s not like they’re small or light in weight. Clem actually built a Brick Barn where he proudly houses them.

Now Indy is famous for our own history of bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. How cool would it be if our friend, Doug Bowles, President of IMS, would send Clem one of the original bricks from the famed oval!
