The Oscar nominated Barbie star is reportedly in negotiations to star in the untitled Star Wars movie that Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy will direct. It is still unclear what Levy’s film will be about, but sources say it will be a standalone movie with new characters.

Gosling’s sudden interest in the project could reportedly change Levy’s schedule. He was considering making a boy band movie with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
