Momo the Monkey was missing from Indianapolis’ East Side since 4:45pm Wednesday. Around 11am Thursday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police announced that Momo the Monkey had been found safe. They, also, posted a picture on social media with a police officer and a boy holding Momo.
According to the Indianapolis Star, the monkey was first reported missing on a neighborhood Facebook group. Apparently, this is not the first time Momo has escaped. Interestingly enough, as long as you register your animal deemed to be “dangerous,” like a monkey, you can own up to two “dangerous” animals in the City of Indianapolis.
