Broad Ripple bar owners met this week and agreed to close at 1am until further notice. This decision was made following the deadly shooting early Sunday morning in the Broad Ripple area that resulted in the deaths of three people and one injury. Some of the bars were operating until 3am prior to this week.

Broad Ripple businesses are demanding a gun-free zone, too. They will also stop hosting day parties and welcoming promoters to promote parties in the entertainment district.
