According to NBC, Britney Spear’s dad, Jamie, has filed a petition to end her 13-year-long conservatorship!

But there might be more to it… The Twitter sleuths are thinking her dad is trying to avoid some accountability and paying back a LOT of money:

I think we all hope that Jamie Spears is held accountable for his actions, but even if he’s not, here’s to hoping Britney is free by her 40th birthday in December!
