Beginning Friday, May 15, select Walmarts will offer COVID-19 testing in their parking lots to people who fit the CDC criteria — those who work in healthcare, first responders, people in high-risk groups, and those showing symptoms of the illness.

Testing is done via drive-thru. Those getting tested will remain in their vehicle and follow directions from on-site workers to collect their own sample with a swab. You must make an appointment first at DoINeedACOVID19Test.com.

Fox59 says these testing sites will be open 7am-9am (weather permitting) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at these Indy locations:

• Walmart Store #1459 — 7245 US 31 S, Indianapolis
• Walmart Store #1518 — 3221 W 86th St, Indianapolis
• Walmart Store #2787 — 7325 N Keystone Ave, Indianapolis
